Thank you so much for contacting Memorial Drive Ministries about potential donations. We’re grateful for your generosity. Memorial Drive Ministries envisions the end of disconnectedness for refugees and the diverse community of Clarkston. We are a shared space for congregations, nonprofits, and communityorganizations serving our diverse community. Please review our donation guidelines below. If you think your items meet our criteria, please email [email protected] with a detailed list of your items along with photos and someone from MDM will be back in touch with you, typically within one week. All donation drop offs must be coordinated in advance. Please do not ever leave unattended donations in front of any door on campus. Thank you again for supporting our vision and community!
Great ways to donate to MDM
- Donation Drives: Memorial Drive Ministries plans and advertises regular donation drives. These donation drives ask for specific items that are helpful to our mission, our Onsite Partners, and our community. These donation drives also include specific drop-off windows of time. This is the best way to donate items to MDM. All are invited to participate in these donation drives, according to the specific instructions provided. (These donation drives are for specific items for specific time windows. Just because MDM has asked for a specific donation in the past, doesn’t mean that MDM is accepting that donation at all times.) Information about these donation drives can typically be found on MDM’s Facebook page and the MDM website.
- Amazon Wishlist: MDM maintains an Amazon Wishlist of items that are regularly used on our campus and that would be beneficial to our Onsite Partners and our community. This is also always a place supporters can go to purchase and send donated items that will benefit MDM. Our Amazon Wishlist can be accessed through a link at the bottom of the MDM website.

We are typically looking for books that are 1) published in year 2015 or later and 2) relevant to a diverse population of people from
around the world. If you think you have books that might fit that description, please email that list.

Reminders:
- All donations must be delivered, and the delivery date and time coordinated in advance. The best time to drop of donations will typically be on Tuesdays. We do not have capacity to pick up donations. This is the case except in rare instances of exception approved by the Director.
- Good working order refers to the condition of the items: All donated items must be in good condition (functional and no visible spots, stains, or broken/missing parts). MDM does reserve the right to refuse to accept items if they’re damaged or not as described by donor.
- Can MDM provide a tax receipt? Yes, upon request. But the estimated value of the items must be provided in writing by the donor, not MDM.
