Community Grant Application

Memorial Drive Ministries (MDM) is a church-based non-profit that fosters diverse worshipping communities, innovative social services, and transformative relationships. Memorial Drive Ministries nurtures a safe, collaborative, and welcoming environment for the vibrant ministries that call the Memorial Drive campus home.

Community development on our campus is a central goal of our ministry.  We believe building community across our onsite partners and between them and other supporting organizations is an important step toward our goal. Because of this passion, we have developed a Community Grant Program. Examples of how these grants might foster community development include:

  • If multiple congregations and onsite partners want to come together for World Refugee Day, the Community Grant Program could be used to fund some of the costs.
  • If two onsite partners that share worship space want to purchase and share new children’s curriculum, the Community Grant Program could be used to assist with the material cost.

The criteria for obtaining a Community Grant are as follows:

  • Grants will only be rewarded to our onsite partners and must involve two or more of our onsite partners or an onsite partner and a partner church or supporting organization.
  • Applications must be completed and include signatures from an individual from each of the participating organizations.
  • Applications will be approved by members of MDM Board committees and David Roth, the MDM Executive Director.
  • Amounts awarded for each grant will range from $200 to $1,000.
  • Onsite partners may apply as a primary organization for one or two grants in a calendar year.
  • Grant recipients must agree to provide an update during or at the end of the project and provide pictures of the event or outcome with permission for MDM to share on social media and other online platforms.
